Brand statement

What PermitPrice does
- Publishes per-jurisdiction permit fee formulas, not "approximate ranges".
- Cites the source fee schedule for every figure.
- Runs in-browser calculators that reproduce each jurisdiction's official math.
- Discloses estimate assumptions and source-age limits on the page itself.
Coverage scope
U.S. residential permits - one- and two-family construction. Live jurisdictions include seven Virginia counties and cities plus Washington, D.C. See Coverage for the current list and Site Map for the full page index.
Use of content
- Short quotes from PermitPrice pages can be used freely with attribution to "PermitPrice" and a link back to the source page.
- Reproducing entire pages or large tables requires permission.
- Scraping the site at scale or republishing it as a competing dataset is not permitted. See Terms.
Wordmark
The PermitPrice wordmark is the word "PermitPrice" set in DM Sans, with "Permit" in slate and "Price" in burnt orange (#D4782A). Please do not redraw, recolor, or stretch it. The wordmark is not an endorsement.
What we will not say
- We will not claim user counts, lookup totals, or media features unless they can be cited.
- We will not provide quotes about jurisdictions we have not actually verified.
- We will not compare our data to a competitor's claims without seeing both sources.
